Qualitative phytochemical analysis
Ethanol extracts of Green tea exhibited positive results for tannins, saponins, Flavonoids,
Quinone and Phenols whereas black tea revealed positive results for tannins, saponins,
flavonoids, quinonone, phenols and terpenoids. The results are given in Table 2.
