B.A. with Honours

College offers B.A. (Hons. ) Course from III to VI semester in the following subjects: English, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, and Psychology.

Eligibility: The candidates should have secured 50% in the relevant subject and 50% in aggregate.



Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES)

Eligibility: 10+2 pass with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate from any stream. Candidate seeking admission must qualify the Physical Fitness Test and must have represented the District/School in any game/Sports.

In addition to the traditional B.Sc. in medical and nonmedical, the college offers a choice of vocational subjects in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics

Eligibility: 10+2 examination with atleast 40% marks in aggregate from P.S.E.B. or any other equivalent examination recognized by G.N.D.U. Amritsar with Non-Medical/Medical subjects.

B.Sc. Computer Science

Eligibility: 10+2 examination with at least 40% marks in aggregate from P .S.E.B. or any other equivalent examination recognized with Non-Med. subject.

Course Structure: General English, General Punjabi or Basic Punjabi, Physics/ Chemistry, Comp.Sc. , Maths, Drug Abuse: Problem, Management & Prevention, EVS.

B.Sc. Economics

Eligibility: 10+2 with 40% in aggregate from P.S.E.B. or equivalent examination. Admission on merit basis.



FACULTY OF SCIENCES (POST GRADUATE COURSES)


M.Sc. BOTANY

Eligibility: At least 50% marks in B.Sc. (Med. ) with Zoology, Botany or any other Life Science Subject. Admission to M.Sc. Botany is based on interview and merit, as per the admission policy of the college. The regular student who has passed M.Sc. (Botany) Part I is eligible for admission to M.Sc. Part II.


M.Sc. Bio - INFORMATICS

Eligibility: Students having a Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Environmental Science, Physical Science, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, Medicine (M.B.B.S. ) or B.D.S., Pharmacy/Engineering & Technology, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences with at least 50% marks.


M.Sc. Chemistry

Eligibility: Passed B.Sc. Degree(10+2+3) system with Chemistry as one of the elective subjects with atleast 50% marks from G.N.D.U or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by the university.


M.Sc. Mathematics

Eligibility: B.A/B.Sc. with Honours in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operational Research. OR B.A/B.Sc. with 50% marks in aggregate and having Mathematics as one of the subjects. OR B.Sc. (Hons. School in Physics), B.Sc. (Engg.) with 50% marks in aggregate and having Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects. OR B.A/B.Sc. in full subjects obtaining 45% marks in Mathematics. OR Master's Degree in any subject.

B.Com with Honours (Four Semesters)

Eligibility: A student of B.Com. can opt. for B.Com. (Hons. ) in B.Com. Sem. III only if she has passed B.Com. Sem.I & II with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

The students will have to select one of the following groups having four papers each, of which Paper- I shall be offered in B.Com. (Hons. ) Semester-III, Paper-II in B.Com. (Hons. ) Semester-IV, Paper-III in B.Com. (Hons. ) Semester-V and Paper-IV in B.Com. (Hons. ) Semester-VI.

M.Sc. Fashion Designing & Merchandising

Eligibility: Passed BA with Fashion Designing and Garment Construction/ Home Sc/ B.Sc. Home Sc./ B.Sc.FD/ BD(Fashion) or PGD Dress Designing & Tailoring/ PGD Fashion Designing or BA Degree with FD as an Add-on course (3 yrs) under (10+2+3 system) with at least 45% marks from GNDU or any other equivalent examination from recognized University/Institute.


B.Voc. (Web Technology and Multimedia)

Eligibility: 10+2 examination with atleast 45% marks in aggregate.


B.Voc. (Banking and Financial Services)

Eligibility: -10+2 with at least 45% marks in aggregate.


B.Voc. (Cosmetology & Wellness)

Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline of the University/Board/Council or examination of any other recognized university with not less than 40% marks in the aggregate.

Duration: Three year degree course with exit point facility after 1st year and 2nd year.


B.Voc (Fashion Technology)

Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline of the University/Board/Council or examination of any other recognized university with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate.

B.Voc. (Journalism & Media)

B. Voc. (Mental Health Counseling)

Eligibility: The eligibility for the admission is +2 pass in any stream with 45% marks, age no bar.


M.Voc. (Multimedia)

Eligibility: Category – 1: Students already acquired NSQF certification Level 7 in a particular industry sector and opted admission in the skill based courses under NSQF in the institutions recognized under Community Colleges / B.Voc Degree program / KAUSHAL Kendras.
Category – 2: Graduation in any faculty with 45 Percent marks in aggregate from recognized University or equivalent examination.
Note :In case of students who have acquired NSQF certification Level 7under Community college / B.Voc. Degree/ Kaushal Kendra in different skill trade and want to take admission in M.vochaving different tradeshall have to take skill bridge course during semester
