A decrease of 58.92% was observed in the chlorophyll ‘b’ content at 100 ppm concentration

of IAA at 20 days of spraying (Fig. 2B) in comparison to the control plants (p<0.05). Total
chlorophyll content decreased at 40 days of spraying when treated with IAA (Fig. 2C).

Maximum decrease (40.74%) in the total chlorophyll content was recorded at 100 ppm
concentration of IAA in comparison to the control plants at 60 days of spraying (p<0.05).

               Phenolic Content
Phenolic content is significantly affected by IAA. The highest phenol concentration of

150.69% was observed at 50 ppm concentration of IAA at 20 days of spraying in comparison
to the control plants (Fig. 2D). At 60 days of spraying, minimum increase of 16.10% was

observed at 100 ppm concentration of IAA in comparison to the control plants.

               Flavonoid Content
Flavonoid content is significantly increased by treatment with IAA and GA3. Flavonoid

content increased at all growth stages in comparison to the control plants except at 50 ppm
concentration of IAA at 40 days of spraying (Fig. 2E). At 20 days of spraying, flavonoid

content improved with elevation in the level of IAA.
