and shoot system, the activity of the amylase enzyme was found to be reduced by 45.63 %
and 49.15%, respectively control uninfected plants.
The nematode infection demonstrates considerable effort on many parameters tested,
according to statistical analysis of critical difference at 5% and 1%. (Table 2 and 3). The
results of the statistical analysis of the student's exam show that nematode infection had a
substantial impact on the numerous parameters investigated (Table 4).
Enzymatic studies
Alcohol dehydrogenase
When compared to the respective CUI plant, root knot nematode infection resulted in
a reduction in alcohol dehydrogenase activity in both the root and shoot systems. The root
system (44.11%) and the shoot system (50.41%) experienced the greatest reductions (Table 2
and 3).
Glucose dehydrogenase
The activity of GDH was found to be lowered in both the root and shoot systems as a
result of nematode infection. In root systems, the reduction was 55.09%, while in shoot
systems, it was 55.15 %. The shoot system was shown to have the greatest reduction. The
statistical examination of the crucial difference at 5% and 1% reveals that nematode
infections have a significant impact on the host plant (Table 2 and 3). The Statistical analysis
of student‘t’test, the nematode infection significantly influences the enzyme activities.(Table
4).
Total Chlorophyll
The overall chlorophyll content in the host plant's shoot system was shown to be
lowered as a result of nematode infection. When compared to the CUI plant, it was lowered
by 11.01%. Individual chlorophyll content has also been found to be lower. Chlorophyll a has
decreased by 20.47%, while chlorophyll b has decreased by 11.39x%.
