               irrigation  and  drinking  [35].  Rawat  et  al  2019,  performed  assessment  of  quality  of  water

               samples  collected  from  several  location  of  Allahabad  [36].  Karunanidhi,  D  et  al  2021
               performed  assessment  of  the  affect  of  COVID-19  lockdown  and  monsson  cycle  on

               groundwater pollution in an industrialised southern Indian region [37].

               CONCLUSION
               The quality of water depends on the type of source and type of contaminants introduced. The

               physicochemical  properties  of  water  samples  can  be  estimated  by  various  standard
               approaches. Maintaining water quality is of utmost necessity with the growing population.

               The WQI should be monitored at regular intervals to avoid population from fatal diseases.
