(Galende etal 2004) .Research of fragrant plants have shown that some of them along with

Ocimum basilicum L ., Melissa Officinalis L., Valeriana officinalis L.,. are for removal of
heavy metals like Pb, Zn and Cd, which recommends them for use for the phytostabilisation

of soils infected with those metals (E. Masarovicova 2010)
               ADVANTAGES OF PHYTOREMEDIATION

 It is simple mechanism which is very easy to implement and maintain.

 It is environment friendly and economic technology.

 Phytoremediation does not disturb soil fertility and other soil features as other soil
                       cleaning methods does.

               FUTURE PROSPECT
Phytoremediation is a green technology that works but the foremost problem in almost any

approach is the truth that point and the ability to address a wide and massive quantity of
pollutants. As technology is higher understood and used continuously, however, it'll develop

in efficiency and power and will absolutely develop. As Phytoremediation is the

contemporary issue within the subject of research to extract heavy metals from infected soil.
Currently, maximum of its work is limited to laboratories and greenhouses. Its miles tough to

examine and evaluate the effectiveness of phytoremediation in the real field. Therefore, a
first-rate deal of labour needs to be carried out within the vicinity of this field of area studies

due to the fact the field is the actual world where this pollution occurs and there are

numerous factors on this discipline that are exceptional from the laboratory and the
               greenhouse (Ji et al., 2011).

CONCLUSION: Soil pollution and toxicity of these heavy metals boom daily inflicting
many environmental troubles to be solved. Environmental and chemical rehabilitation

methods have many negative aspects including excessive charges, soil shape modifications,
soil degradation. In comparison, phytoremediation is the fine uncooked approach used to

remedy this hassle. It is economically feasible and possible. Phytoremediation requires

information of soil chemistry, ecology, plant science, microbiology and environmental
elements. Plants have the ability to smooth up infected land due to the fact they want positive

minerals so that it will grow and therefore consume that metal without difficulty. Studies
remains below way to become aware of genes for coding for certain heavy metals in plants.

Instead of many challenges it is still best to fix the green material used to remove heavy metal

from the eco-friendly and efficient soil.
